For moisture, you can slather your hair with mayonaise, not Miracle Whip, and wrap your hair in plastic wrap, wait for 1/2 hour then rinse out and shampoo. You can do the same with avacados, and warm olive oil. For volume, dry your hair in the opposite direction that you want it to go. Ex.: If you part your hair on the right side, blow dry it to the left then comb it to the right. You can also put a little mousse on the roots. Hope this helps!

Stop using the straightener, or anything else with a cord attached for a while, to let your hair heal. Also, go easy on harsh shampoo and scrubbing it. You may want to condition the ends/length first, then wash the roots and crown with just a little shampoo, letting the suds clean the rest, then condition again [can be a good leave in, or Suave for $1 a bottle, just give it some time to penetrate].
Lots of things can be good for hair - mayonnaise is a good conditioner, and beer will make it shiny. A final rinse with apple cider vinegar will add shine and get rid of shampoo build up. VERY lightly oiling the ends is also good - you can use just a drop or two of olive oil rubbed between your palms, then on your ends, and jojoba and/or coconut oil is good to.

Apple cider vinegar is good for the hair! Try mixing it with some water and use it as a hair rinse after you shampoo. It will make your hair silky and shiny!
Also, before you use your hair straightener put some leave on conditioner or other hair moisturiser to help protect your hair.
