HAIR DILEMA.......what should i do!!!!!!!!!?

help i have horrible hair

its thick, pooffy, has medium frizz, and its course

i was considering to chemicallly straighten my hair just to control it

but i dont like straight hair with no volume........i figured i would blow dry it in the morning or curl it with setters or an iron

so i just wanna kno wat u would suggest..........are there any permanent treatments to fix my hair condition but for there to still be some volume in my hair

i would strongly suggest that you do NOT chemically straighten your hair, it will make it alot worse then it is already. You should probably just use a 2-1 shampoo conditioner thing that has frizz control serums in it. Spend a little, go for a good brand and then just straighten it or blow dry it!!! but whatever you do do not chemically straighten your hair. Also because when your new hair will grow back the roots well begin to get poofy and your hair will look really bad!!!

My hair is thick and can be poofy too if I am not careful!! If you put a chemical straightener on it, it will be even more frizzy, well, from my experience anyway. The best thing I have found to do, if I want my hair to be curly and frizz free then when I wash it I put in mouse right after I towel dry it and then it dry naturally. It turns out very pretty and curly without the poof. If I want it straight, then I use a chi iron and a product sold by chi, called silk infusion. My hair will be straight, silky and shiny. I feel with you on the frizzies Hun!! Had to deal with it all my life!!! Good luck!

blow drying mite ruin ur hair even more by making it even poofier. and chemically relaxing will make it even worse by making ur hair dry, giving split ends, and more. You can try a hair straightener...Chi or maxiglide...they are a little expensive and get a spray or serum to put on before so that they dont damage ur hair. put on some volumizing creme. buy some creme for your frizz also and sometimes putting your hair in a braid can stop it from tangling so much and keep it down.

Get mousse or gel and scrunch it after its towel dried, make sure its on all of ur hair so none of it is poofy, then let it dry
