Hey, well i just bought that Sun In Hair stuff and i was wondering if anyone has some answers to my questions. Okay, so my hair if a very light brown and i miss it being blonde ( it used to be.). So i m hoping the stuff will lighten it enough to make it dark blonde. But does anyone have some advice how many times to apply it. Im not looking for a drastic hair change, but just for ti to get a little lighter. My sister used it a few years ago (( she applied it aot)0 and it turned her hair into an orangish tint. Also, should i be straightening my hair after i put Sun In in my hair? Also, my other sister said that my roots would end up looking really bad when my hair starts growing out. does anyone have any advice?
thank you soooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sun In Hair Stuff?
sun in contains alot of peroxide. It's mainly what the stuff is. I would do a test strand first and see what works for you. I have used it in the past and it does work pretty well but if you use to much it really will turn your hair orange because it basically slowly bleaches the color out but it's not strong enough to make it go totally blond. Hope that helps! Good luck!

It will totally work, it will lighten it to a dark blonde, especially if it is really light brown now! It really only tints darker colored hair orange, so if your sister has the same hair color as you, you might not want to use it. Also, make sure not to go overboard, lighten it gradually, just like the sun would on its own!
Best of Luck! :]

Ew, "Sun In" is dicey. It's meant to give you that sun-kissed look, like sun bleaching, but on me it went a weird orange color. The more you use, or the more often, the lighter it gets, and the more obvious your roots look, along with missed spots, and then it just becomes a mess. Spring for a professional high-lighting job. You can pick how light you want it, and it grows out nicely. Just my opinion.

DO NOT SPRAY IT DIRECTLY ON YOUR HAIR OR IT WILL TURN ORANGE!!!!!Spray it on your fingers and run them through you hair to create streaks or unscrew the pump and use the plastic tube on the bottom of it to manually apply it the desired areas. This will create natural highlights! Definitely test it out on a few strands first just to make sure it reacts well with your hair. But please apply sparingly you only need a little to work and you must be patient because if you don't see results right away you CAN'T be tempted to use more!

it might change it orange...depending on the shade of your light brown..that happened to my sister...I have blondish hair and when I used it it went WHITE and very uneven (at the time-summer-it looked nice, but once fall came around it was a wreck) its very hard to darken it if you want to again, becaseu your hair will be very uneven. It took my almost 2 years to finally get my hair back to normal
But good luck
