My hair is thinning after taking clomid, anyone else?

I started clomid in December with 5 doses. I took 2 doses

in January but noticed my hair was thinning and decided not

to continue. I saw my GP and had my thyroid and hormones

checked which came back normal. She told me because

of the clomid it made my estrogen spike and then suddenly

drop causing my hair to be affected. She said I wont lose all

my hair however it may take up to 2 months for it to stop.

I have decided not to continue the clomid but am wearing

an estrogen patch to help keep my estrogen up some

which still concerns me that even this will make my hair

fall out more. I lost my hair 8 years ago during chemotherapy

and feel devastated that I have to deal with this now when

I am trying to so hard to conceive. I wish I knew how much

hair I will lose. I have cut off 4 inches already and it is drying

up. I am also taking lots of vitamins hoping it will make a

difference. My infertility doctor was surprised this happened.
