Clip on Hair extensions?

im getting 18 inch clip on hair extensions from sally beauty supply.....im not getting the real human hair ones just the fake hair....but its still 40 dollars sooo its not like its cheap or anything....but i have hair about an inch above my shoulder...if i clip in those hair extensions will it really look like i have long hair or will it look fake and dumb? ......have u ever used the clip in hair extensions b4?

I had that problem..

When I first bought my clip-ins from Sallys..I had short ish hair to my shoulders. When I clipped them in, you could see where my hair was short underneath from the back.

But i still wear them and people often looked shocked when i tell them i wear extensions

Please re-consider getting the human hair ones. After a while, you will need to straighten them as they get fuzzy and ropey. The only way to fix this is by straightening and obviously you cant do this with synthetic hair.

yes i have worn thema couple times before..and really it depends on how good you put them in..if you put them in properly and with care, then they will look good...(and i highly DISSAGREE with the first comment, thats not true, she obviously doesnt know much about good quality extentions, or how to attatch them.).. .but dont listen to the negative comments from the haters , do your thing girl , it would look great as long as theyre in good..good luck :)

im in the uk and hair extensions are one of the biggest things right now. if you clip them in at the top of your head, and then get them cut to suit your style then they will look real as well as good (as long as they are good quality)

i used the clip in extensions from sally..but i used the real ones.

they didn't work too well for me.

i had brown hair that was in between the light brown and the dark brown, so it looked kind of goofy.

also on the back, you could kind of see the clips.

but i meant if you have really thick hair it should be okay.

i got it for prom, and didn't even end up wearing them because it just looked wierd.

but i mean it could just be my hair.

i don't know how much money it is..but the ones from the hairdresser are a lot more realistic looking.

Fake hair looks dry and like Rats tails and you carnt starigten or curl them.

and real hair ones dont look fake.

yes it going to look fake iof you spending 40 the hair i got from sally's was realy it was 34.99 and i jsut bought the clip 1.99 each (3 in teh pac) and threasde 0.99 and a needle and sewd the clip on teh human hair extesntion my self wayyy cheaper
