Hair color dilemma?

what is the best way to color my hair. right now i have black hair and i want to change it to a light brown color but i want the color to out. i know that with black hair...the color won't be as great. i don't want to bleach my hair out b/c i did that once and it totally killed my hair. does anyone have a solution to my problem?

black hair is a nightmare to cover over the only natural way is to grow it out other than that go to a colour specialist and see if they can help....

They'll know what to do to make it look good

Plus, if you try to do it by yourself you could totally screw it up

If you go in the hair dye aisle at any drugstore, walmart, etc there are dyes that you can put in dark brown/black hair to make it light brown. I think Loreal makes them, and they are not bleach, but I've used them before and it worked well to lighten the black to light brown. Give it a try!

get a dark blonde hair dye. since your hair is black, it won't turn out blonde but more brown-ish. jsut to make sure though, don't leave it on for the full recommended time
