Hair grows wrong direction... HELP!!?

Hey guys.

When I was 10 years old I had a small combover on the left side of my hair. Then when I was 11 I had a combover parted in the middle of my hair.

I am now 15. I have a huge problem. My hair has not yet "recovered" from when I had my hair parted in the middle and my fringe naturally wants to go sideways. I've ignored it and fought against it until now, it is becoming UNBEARABLE!

Please someone help. How do I get my hair to grow in the correct direction, ie. forward.

when it's wet, blow dry it forward while pulling on the ends. keep "forcing" it forward, every day, and in a little while, it will naturally grow that way.

It could be what they call a "cow lick". If this is the case, you will not be able to make it grow in a different direction. You will have to deal with it.

If it is not a "cow lick", try to blow dry your wet hair the direction you want it to fall. Do this for several weeks and eventually your hair should follow this. It may take some time though.
