Hair problems need help right away.?

I have been experiencing split ends and worrying if my hair is thinning too much. So today in the shower i conditioned the ends of my hair ALOT and alot also middle down. I have longer than shoulder length thick hair. But my question is, after you condition if heavily, does you hair feel thinner and more manageable. I mean it feels as if i dont have as much to hold when i grab all of it in the back. Usually my hair "frows and explodes" when it drys, but its not doing that. Does deep conditioning cause this? Or is it really thinning out?

Yes that is normal! It's also very good for your hair, conditioning will cut down on spilt ends, fizzies %26amp; tame wild hair... You'll notice much healthier hair if you condition regularly, If you have a decent one you don't even have to do it every day (Many do but it sounds like you don't) It adds moisture to your hair making it more pliable and less likely to snap.... Ohhhh thats another good product for split ends or hair breaking off, anti snap by redken! Lasts forever too :)

maybe you should try some Refresca. my sister uses it all the time and it works.

deep conditioning can way hair down make it not "explode"

the way it sounds it looks like the conditioner is doing it and you need to remember not to wash your hair everyday because it can dry it out i use pantene and that stuff works for my hair just try to be positive if you start to see actual hair falling out then yeah your hair is thinning but if not your hair is just really soft and that is some good conditioner so enjoy it

dont worry sounds like a good thing mine will do the same

As someone with thin hair due to a medical problem, I know what you are going through. I would ask a friend if they think your hair is getting thin. Yes, deep conditioning will make your hair feel slightly thinner if you are used to your hair fro-ing out. The conditioner is weighing your hair down some because it has coated the hair strands. It's not a permanent thing but if your hair feels thin after a few good washes that will wash away the deep conditioner coat, then yeah, I would be concerned.

your hair is not thinning the conditioner will make it seem that way you may be applying to much try just about a quarter size about work it all the way down to the ends give it a few minutes then rinse with cool water not ice cold you will put your hair in shock it will keep it tmaes and manageable with out lossing the volume
