Laser Hair removal?

I am curious, how viable is full body laser hair removal?

There are some area's I'd like to completely remove all of the hair from permanently, and some area's where I'd rather just thin it out and lighten it.

For example, can laser hair removal remove head hair, or facial hair on a man?

Is one treatment likely to grow back, and if so is it likely to be thinner, lighter, or both?

On average, how many treatments does it take to completely rid an area of hair permanently, or for a very long duration of time? I have light skin, and very dark hair.

You can completely remove or just thin the hair on any body area. In one treatment you will remove 40-60% of the hair in the region. To remove 98% of the hair, you will need 4-8 treatments.

Be aware that a man's beard is one of the more difficult areas to treat.

Make sure you go to someone reputable. The attached site has more information.

its super expensive and can take 5-7 treatments to remove hair completely. it wont work on all hair types and theres no garauntee it wont grow back eventually. its also quite painful. you can call your local treatment center ( a lot of spas now offer it but you should call a derm.) and they can have a consultation w/you and dertermine if youre a good candidate. the spa should offer the consulation for free but a derm may charge you a copay.
