I purchased Frost %26amp; Tip for permed hair. I of course read the instructions, did a strand test. My original hair color is dark brown, I wanted to go lighter, so I did this on New Years Eve 2007. My hair turn orange and was yellow around the hair lines. I was freaking out, Oh my not a good way to start 2008. I was online like a crazied orange/yellow haired female trying to find help.
Today I call Clairol help line. I was instructed to purchase Nice %26amp; Easy #108 natural reddish blonde and #117 natural med golden brown. Apply only the color bottle of #108 on damp hair for 20 mins or so. Next #117 mixed 1/2 color %26amp; 1/2 developer add an ounce of shampoo leave on for 20 mins. At 20 mins I could see that the orange %26amp; yellow was just about gone. I let stay on longer. OMG it worked!!!!!!! I now have pantene conditioner on my hair which I will let stay on for a long time.
I will never ever dye my hair ever again. Hoping that my experience will help others.
Happy new Year
