I was reading the ingredients on the packages of both perm. and temp. hair colors at the store. BOTH types had hydrogen peroxide, isn't that supposed to lighten hair color. Some had ammonia and others were ammonia free, what is this for?
I have highlights and I want to go back to darker hair, but when I use perm. hair color (even the darker ones) they are all purpose, meaning for people who want to darken and for those who want to lighten. So the result is my hair is lightened then darkened. After a few weeks the color fades and I have a new root line of where my hair was lightened. I think temporary hair color may be the answer but what about the hydrogen peroxide mentioned before, oh and ammonia.
Does temporary hair color lighten?
YES, babe.
Does temporary hair color lighten?
i use nice n easy, its very good, and the color lasts pretty long.i think that most of the hair dyes use hydrogen peroxide and ammonia, this is what gives the hair its color ability.
Does temporary hair color lighten?
Why do people want to mess up their hair with home hair color? This is too complected to do at home...Go to a professional to have your hair done properly.
To answer your question...No temporary hair color does not lighten...lightening is always permanent.
