You can buy John Frieda at drugstores like Walgreens. But they also have lower priced anti frizz serums that do the same thing. Just look for products that contain all or mostly silicone ingredients.
For the split ends, there isn't much you can do to repair them, despite the claims of hair product makers. It would be better for you to cut off all the damage and then work carefully with your hair to protect the ends when styling.
Biosilk serum is another good alternative but it is really expensive! I think it's my favorite but I don't usually buy it.

i like the serum by garnier. it's not heavy and lasts a while even in the humidty. i have john frieda brand at cvs or rite aid.

My friend and I just asked this girl about how beautiful her hair was; looked silky and beautifully curly, and she told us she went though yrs of different product trying to tame it, and one day she was at a boyfriends house and the only thing he had that she could try was coconut oil. Incredibably it worked like majic and now she wont use anything else. And her hair is beautiful! Coconut oil can be found in most stores, either in cooking or skin care. Hope this helps....

John Freida, very good brand...but that little pump don't cut it for my hair. u can buy it at Target, Walgreens.
i use Fantasia: Frizz Buster serum. it eliminates dry and frizzy and damaged hair...but unfortunately it doesn't repair split ends...all you can do is snip them. i love my hair serum...it costs about $6. but it lasts me for 4 months.

DONT LISTEN TO ANY OF THESE PEOPLE!
i have curly frizzy hair too. i used to have a afro type thing . well i just started using Sunsilk Anti-Poof and Sunsilk Anti-Frizz cream and it really works. your hair will be soft not frizzy and if yours poofs out a little or alot like mine did, this will work. its only like $3.00 at k-mart or walmart trust me it works!

Patene could be your problem right there. It causes frizzy hair. The best product I seen so for out there for straightening hair is Grahm Webb. The gel comes in 2 strengths depending on your hair. If your hair still has some fly aways after straightening it, I like Artec Texture Shine and Frizz Control. Make sure you're using a good flat iron that's a ceramic, and it would be best if you air dried instead of blowdrying (less frizzing to deal with)
