Hi, I am wanting to get rid of my hair on my stomach.
My hair is really course and thick and kinda looks stupid as I don't have hair anywhere on my chest.
I am chinese so the black hair really stands out.
I am thinking of using neat or some other hair removal product, maybe Veet or Nair.
I need some advice here.
Which one to use?
How long does it keep the hair away for?
Does the hair grow back thicker?
Any chance of skin discoloring?
Thanks
Any other advice would be great.
Using Neat hair removal on stomach?
I have only used Nair it stinks...and some people are allergic to it, the veet I have heard good things about it. How long it keeps the hair away..depends...usually about two weeks maybe less...as for the hair growing back thicker..no it will just be like stubble but not quite as bad as shaving it..as for skin discoloring I have never heard of it doing that. Read the directions of both...and it doesnt matter if you are male or female..

All depilatories are basically the same. That is, they are extremely alkaline, and basically cause the hair to swell to the point of "melting". The important thing to do is just follow the directions for whatever hair removal product you use. Any hair remover will only remove the hair that has grown above the skin. The hair will grow back. It won't grow back thicker. And it won't discolor natural skin. If you use a "spray tan" or bronzer, it may lighten it. But remember to follow the directions on the hair remover. Your skin will be very sensitive after you remove the cream. Do not rub or scrub the cream off, because it will cause further irritation.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
